As a leader in designing and furnishing workspaces, we recently refurbished our own offices in Eupen (B).  

Our goal was to create an ideal working environment for our sales team, combining comfort, functionality and efficiency.

A functional office for sales staff

We wanted to redesign the office space dedicated to four of our sales staff to make it more functional - while improving concentration and well-being at work. The challenge was designing a space where productivity and comfort would be maximised, despite frequent calls and comings and goings of sales staff at customers' premises.

A solution that combines comfort, organisation and ideal acoustics

Creating an ideal working environment focuses on the following key elements:  

Sitting-and-standing desks (NARBUTAS): These desks allow sales staff to easily vary their working positions, promoting better blood circulation and increased concentration. This flexibility is essential for sales staff who are often interrupted by calls and travel. 

Functional storage (NARBUTAS): Although the "digital shift" is in full swing across the globe, sales staff still work with large volumes of paper documents. The right storage space keeps their work surface clean and tidy, making it easier to organise. 

Library unit: This unit combines decorative elements such as vegetation and stationery accessories, contributing to a pleasant interior design and an atmosphere conducive to feeling good at work. 

Optimised acoustics (INCATRO): In an open space, acoustic quality is crucial, especially for sales staff in regular contact with customers by telephone. Acoustic wall and ceiling panels have been installed, as well as partitions between workstations to improve call quality and reduce ambient noise. 

Adapted lighting (LIGHT ADDICT): The lighting has also been carefully chosen to create a comfortable working environment conducive to concentration.

Challenges met

The main challenge of this project was providing four sales representatives, who were often on the phone, with a pleasant workspace in a room that was initially noisy and acoustically resonant. Working with our partner INCATRO, we carried out a full acoustic study and integrated effective acoustic solutions, with wall panels, suspended panels and panels placed between the office spaces, to absorb

This refurbishment has transformed the space into an ergonomic, user-friendly office, where sales staff can work in a dynamic environment, while still being able to concentrate during more serious moments.  

This project once again demonstrates Oriz 's expertise in office design, as well as our ability to meet the specific needs of our teams and create spaces that combine job performance and well-being.
